Seminários do Cosmo-Ufes, dia 14/10 às 14:00h
Nesta quarta-feira, dia 14 de outubro, às 14h, teremos o seminário de José Domingo Arbañil Vela (UNMSM, UPN, Perú), intitulado: "What can we learn from the interior of a compact star?"
O seminário ocorrerá no Miniauditório, Bloco B, do CCE
Palestrante: José Domingo Arbañil Vela (UNMSM, UPN, Perú)
Título: What can we learn from the interior of a compact star?
Resumo: Compact stars are among the most extreme objects in the Universe, characterized by extraordinary densities and intense gravitational fields. These conditions make them natural laboratories for studying general relativity, fluid physics, and the behavior of matter at high densities. In this talk, we will explore what can be learned about their interiors through stellar equilibrium, radial stability, and polar oscillations. In particular, we will analyze how pressure anisotropy modifies their properties and discuss how oscillation modes and tidal deformability can provide information on their internal structure, establishing a connection between theoretical models and gravitational-wave observations.
