Título: The Curvature parameter and its implications in cosmological models

Resumo:  Recently some publications have shown that some observational measurements of the curvature parameter lead to a "crisis" of the standard model of the $ \Lambda CDM $ Universe. In this talk we briefly review the main observational results of the curvature parameter. We consider its implications in various background cosmological models. And we also show some observational implications of the curvature parameter on the theory of first order structure formation. Some conclusions and perspectives are presented.
